José Luis Prada is the Managing Partner of Prada Tax Advisors SL.
Specialist in Corporate Taxation and International Taxation. Extensive experience in Corporate Income Tax and Supplementary Tax, as well as in the design and implementation of national and international corporate restructurings. Regularly advises on financial taxation and complex transactions of high strategic value.
He holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and is a former State Tax Inspector and Inspector of Insurance Entities, Pension Plans and Pension Funds (both on leave of absence).
He has extensive experience in tax advisory services for corporate groups and high-net-worth individuals, both in domestic and international tax planning and in audit procedures and appeals before economic-administrative and contentious-administrative courts.
He has served as Managing Partner of EY Abogados in Barcelona and as Partner at Optio SL. Previously, among other roles, he was a partner at Baker & McKenzie Abogados and Ramón & Cajal. Until the year 2000, he served as an active Tax Inspector, his final position being Head of the Tax Inspection in Catalonia.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF). He also regularly collaborates in various professional and training forums, teaching in specialized master’s programs, particularly at ESADE (AGT and the International Taxation / Anti-Avoidance Measures Program), Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), Fundación FIDE, among others.

Anna González is a partner at Prada Tax Advisors.
Specialist in wealth and succession planning and in the taxation of individuals (Personal Income Tax / Wealth Tax). She has solid experience in real estate taxation (VAT, Transfer Tax and Stamp Duty) and in the defense of taxpayers in tax audit and assessment procedures.
She holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona, a Master’s Degree in Taxation and Tax Advisory from the Centro de Estudios Financieros, and completed a postgraduate program in International Tax Law at the University of Barcelona.
She has extensive experience in corporate restructurings, family business taxation, and real estate taxation within the scope of indirect taxation (VAT and Transfer Tax and Stamp Duty). She advises on the structuring of real estate investments and divestments, the monitoring of tax audit and assessment procedures, and negotiations with the Spanish tax authorities. She also has experience in the filing and follow-up of appeals before the tax authorities, the Tax Inspection bodies and the Economic-Administrative Courts, as well as in contentious-administrative proceedings.
Prior to joining Prada Tax Advisors, she developed her career in the corporate tax advisory department of EY Abogados’ Barcelona office, where she practiced for eight years. Previously, she worked as a lawyer in the tax department of Fornesa-Prada-Fernández (now Augusta Abogados) and earlier at Jausas (now Fieldfisher/Jausas).

Oriol Pasanau is a Partner at Prada Tax Advisors, specialist in advising family businesses and in tax planning for international private clients, both in inbound and outbound structures. He regularly advises senior executives, particularly in relation to the application of the special tax regime for inbound workers (the “Beckham Law”).
He also has extensive experience in succession planning and generational transfer, corporate restructurings, the planning and design of investment structures in Spain for non-residents, and in providing ongoing tax advice to medium-sized and large companies, both domestic and international.
He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Barcelona, a Master’s Degree in Tax Advisory and Management (AGT) from ESADE, a postgraduate qualification as an expert in International Taxation from ESADE, and an Executive MBA from UPF Barcelona School of Management.
Prior to joining the OPTIO Next Law team, he developed his career in the tax area of PwC (Barcelona office) for more than 11 years.

Sonia Sicilia is a Senior Associate at Prada Tax Advisors.
Specialist in tax procedure, with extensive experience in the filing and handling of administrative and contentious tax appeals, as well as in the defense of taxpayers before the tax authorities at all stages of the procedure.
She holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona (Faculty of Law, class of 2007–2012), a Master’s Degree in Tax Advisory and Management (AGT) from ESADE Law School, and a Master’s Degree in Tax Law from the Barcelona Bar Association.
She specializes in the tax area, particularly in tax procedures, including the advisory services, defense and handling of cases initiated by the tax authorities, both at the administrative level (tax audits and economic-administrative proceedings) and at the contentious-administrative level (before the courts of justice).
Additionally, she has significant experience in providing ongoing tax advice to individuals and legal entities, preventive legal advice in tax disputes, and the optimization of the taxpayer’s tax position.
Prior to joining the tax department of Prada Tax Advisors, she served as a Manager in the Tax division of EY Abogados, where she was part of the PCS (EY Private Client Services) and TC (EY Tax Controversy) departments. Earlier in her career, she practiced as a civil lawyer, gaining experience in civil proceedings and matters.

Joana Vaz Amador is a Tax Lawyer at Prada Tax Advisors.
She holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from Abat Oliba CEU University. She completed the Master’s in Access to the Legal Profession at ISDE (Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía) in Barcelona, and holds a Master’s degree in Tax Consultancy and Management (“AGT”) from ESADE.
Since joining Prada Tax Advisors, she has worked on matters related to the different tax regimes applicable to non-residents in Spain, designing investment structures in the country. She has also participated in business restructuring projects, succession planning, generational handovers, and ongoing tax advisory services for medium and large companies, both domestic and international.
Before joining the tax department at Prada Tax Advisors, she worked as a lawyer in the Tax division of EY Abogados, within the Business Tax Advisory (BTA) Department. Earlier in her career, she completed her legal training in a boutique law firm specialized in tax and commercial law.

Carola Forcadell is a Junior Tax Lawyer at Prada Tax Advisors. Previously, she completed her internship for the Master’s in Legal Practice at the firm.
She holds a Law degree from Pompeu Fabra University and completed the Master’s in Legal Practice at UPF – Barcelona School of Management. She also holds a Master’s in Specialization in Taxation and Tax Advisory (TAF) from the Center for Financial Studies (CEF) – UDIMA.
Since joining the firm, she has worked on matters related to the various tax regimes applicable to non-residents in Spain and the design of investment structures in Spain, as well as other projects involving corporate restructuring, succession planning, and family business advisory.
